Description

This powder formulation of pure dried and sieved amla berries, reetha nuts and shikakai, arapu and other natural ingredients acts as a hair wash and conditioner. Widely used in India to nourish hair and prevent greying of hair, this hair masque cleans the scalp and gently conditions hair from tip to follicle.

Soap nuts are a berry species that naturally contain soap. They grow on the Sapindus mukorossi (Soap Berry) tree on the Indian peninsula. The natural soap found in these berries is called saponin and is widely used as a hair cleanse in India.

Ingredients

Shikakai, arapu, reetha, amla, bhringaraj, licorice root, fenugreek, hibiscus, neem, tulsi, vetiver and rose petals and other roots and herbs.

How to Use

  • Hair Conditioner - Mix about 1-2 tbsp of hair conditioner powder with water or yogurt in a bowl to make a medium paste. Ensure that there are no lumps. Apply gently to hair. Allow to set for 30-60 min. Rinse hair thoroughly. Do this once or twice per week and it removes the oil leaving the hair clean.

  • Hair Wash – Take 2 to 4 spoonfuls of hair wash powder and mix with warm water. Use like a shampoo. It will not make a lot of bubbles like shampoo, but it will clean the hair and scalp. Rinse well.
